What is the TRACTOR Project?

TRACTOR (Training Rural and Agricultural Communities Towards Optimising Resources) is a pilot project designed by EiE to help organisations reduce the costs of energy, waste, water and transport used.

What support does TRACTOR Offer?

TRACTOR offers support in a number of different ways:
* Support to identify funding and grants available for improving resource efficiency.
* On-site reviews of energy, waste, water and transport to identify site-specific savings of resources and costs, with concise, practical, recommendations.
* Back-up support by phone and email, for research of suppliers and equipment.
* Opportunities to learn more about resource efficient ways of operating and to share ideas with other businesses.
* An online resource with information and case studies of the experiences of businesses.

How much does it cost for an organisation to participate?

It costs nothing to participate. The website is free to all users. Further onsite support may be available in the future. The support provided to date by EiE for Southern Oxfordshire businesses has been funded by the Southern Oxfordshire LEADER Group and through a generous charitable donation.

Who is eligible?

The only eligibility criteria are that your business or organisation:
- Falls within the LEADER geographic area
