Oxford is a fantastic city with incredible opportunities in the arts and culture, especially for students. I am currently in my second year at Oxford Brookes and can certify that the Drama course is definitely growing and improving academically, networking and expanding its connections into the professional environment, allowing students to be involved in current projects with highly supportive staff.

Covering theory as well as practical work, it is a well-rounded course, allowing us to express a broad range of skills, such as understanding theatre genres, creative practical and written work, academic and research writing, and dramatic workshops. The Drama modules have beneficially interdisciplinary and transferable skills in many other subjects, making it a popular choice for students studying other courses such as English and Film. With highly energetic lecturers and staff who keep us involved in the present research opportunities, job opportunities, events, and dramatic scene, this combined degree is an enhancing experience that is worth taking advantage of. For those seeking a career in acting, writing, teaching, or even outside the Dramatic environment, this course at Oxford Brookes has endless opportunities to offer, nurturing students within and outside Oxford.
