At this event, we have invited Tagore Ramoutar, COO and Director of The Oxford Artisan Distillery (TOAD) - a true craft gin distillery - to come and speak to you about this new business that recently opened in Headington, Oxford.

    About the uniqueness of TOAD:

"We care deeply about the quality of our spirits but also the impact of their production. Using ancient and genetically diverse populations of Rye, Wheat and Barley, grown exclusively for us on local farms. We are one of a handful of distilleries that really do make spirits from the field to the bottle, we oversee the entire process on our site beneath the dreaming spires of Oxford."

    About Tagore Ramoutar:

"Tagore is an experienced entrepreneur and new venture expert who has had extensive experience in conceiving, launching and managing new projects, brands and products. A graduate of Cambridge University (George will not hold that against him), Tagore has over 25 years experience working in consumer businesses as diverse as Shell and Nokia / Vertu establishing new organizations within blue-chip companies as well as consulting on a number of SMEs and start-ups.

He has a track record of success in transforming organizations and initiating projects and is a passionate brand builder believing that every great brand begins with a compelling product. Tagore is also the published author of a unique range of children’s books that encourage outdoor exploration by linking the real world with reading."
