    Tell us about your business/project

Return to Equilibrium is a health and wellness programme rooted in 6 elements: food, mood and movement; rest, create and appreciate. Return to Equilibrium equips clients with practical tools and actions to apply during the week ahead, guiding them to make small and sustainable changes in their lifestyle.

    How was the pitching experience?

Pitching was an exciting experience as I could share my business idea and my passion for helping people with an audience that didn't know me. It was the first time I pitched for an audience although I had been practicing talking about my business idea to get feedback from friends. The BES team made the atmosphere so relaxed and supportive I felt confident to speak.

How has taking part in the pitch improved your skillset?

I was curious about which questions the audience would ask me and I found very empowering that I had answers for all of them. As I was the last person to pitch in the evening I didn't have much opportunity to network after my pitch but I made some contacts with other people pitching and I felt we're all there to support each other.

How will winning this money help?

I will spend the Spark money in boosting social media promotion to the launch of my health and wellness programme in May 2019. I will also produce printed promotional materials to distribute in local practices, cafes and yoga studios.

    What are your next steps?

I am working towards the launch of my programme and the behind the scenes side of a business: website, welcome pack and marketing strategies. The launching event will be a fun party where guests will experience the 6 elements of the programme: amazing food, great music for great mood, movement with dance, rest the mind leaving the worries aside; beautiful art and time to be appreciate life, connecting with others.

What does success once you’ve spent the money look like?

Success looks like all my guests having a great time and going home knowing what is Return to Equilibrium Health and Wellness Programme. It also means that I reached a lot more people with my posts on social media, having increased the number of people following and engaging with my ideas as well as having clients signing up for the programme in 1:1 or group sessions.
