    Tell us about your business

HydroVision is a business offering a custom painting service for cycling accessories, predominantly glasses and helmets

Tell us about your pitching experience for the Brookes Spark Award

The pitch was a great event with a small crowd at the THRIVE Pitch at the Pub event. It was great to present my business to an audience outside the cycling industry and get their opinions and support. It has enabled me to get a better understanding of my business idea and practise pitching to a group of people.

How has taking part in the pitch improved your skill set?

The pitch has really helped me develop my business idea and put it into writing so that I can explain it in a clear and concise pitch to potential investors. It has also given me confidence in my idea to go forward with the FUEL awards application

How will winning this money help you?

The money will be really helpful to generate awareness and interest in my business to generate new customers. The money will be split between social media advertising to generate awareness and partly funding my attendance at the UK's largest cycling exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham next September

    What are your next steps?

I will continue to run my business and promote it whilst I finish my degree. I have also started writing a business plan and working with the Enterprise support team to apply for the FUEL awards next semester.
