Enterprise support

  • Societies Fund

At Oxford Brookes University we support societies by providing financial help to get your enterprising ideas started.

We have funding for student societies to put towards enterprising thoughts that will benefit their members.

We encourage your ideas to be innovative and encouraging to all of the members to get involved and gain new enterprising skills and capabilities.

Awards of up to £500 are available for those who can meet the criteria set out by Enterprise Support and deliver an impressive pitch to show how all of their members will benefit from the funds.

    How it works

    • Step 1 - Application

Complete this Google form telling us who will benefit from the fund.

    • Step 2 - Pitch your proposition

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to meet the Enterprise support team to pitch your idea to the team. The pitch will last 5 minutes and will be followed by Q&A from the judges.

    • Step 3 - Awarded the money

If your pitch meets the criteria you will granted the £500 for your idea. At this point you will be asked to raise the money £500 through innovative and enterprising solutions.

    • Step 4 - Impact report

Once you have carried out your enterprising idea, you will be asked to complete an impact report to display how you and your members have benefitted from the money.

    • Step 5 - Reimbursement

When you have submitted your impact report you will be reimbursed for the £500 that has been spent.
