Our team is made up of 15 enthusiastic champions representing academics and professional services staff across all career levels and all areas of the Faculty. We are enthusiastic and motivated and meet regularly – normally once a month - to look at feedback, review progress and propose and implement actions that will benefit both men and women.
We communicate informally through outreach to our colleagues, through our Faculty communications mechanisms (for example the Faculty newsletter) and we run the Faculty Athena Swan surveys and focus groups.
Our Chair reports direct to our Faculty senior management team.
The team meets regularly to challenge and introduce initiatives to improve the appointment and selection process, promotions, career development, early careers support, workplace flexibility and working culture.
