Details
We warmly welcome you to the 2019 Faculty Postgraduate Research Student Symposium, held in the Oxford Brookes Sir Kenneth Wheare Hall.
The Symposium offers an excellent opportunity for our hard-working PhD students to showcase their work and receive feedback from a wider audience. In addition to inspiring talks and informative posters, it is also a great chance to talk to our
trusted suppliers who have kindly agreed to sponsor the event.
Tea/coffee and danish pastries will be provided from 8.15am to 9.30am in the poster halls. The event will begin with a welcome speech from Prof David Evans, Associate Dean, Research and Knowledge Exchange, and an opening talk by Dr Emma L Davies,
Senior Lecturer in Psychology. Following this there will be student poster presentations, a virtual reality talk and demonstration by Mr Gerard Helmich, Digital Services Developer, and a closing talk by Prof Nigel Groome, Emeritus Professor. We will
close with prizes and awards followed by a drinks reception.
