Dr. Kate Wilmut, Reader in Psychology at Oxford Brookes, was interviewed about her research into DCD, embodied perception and action by the Perception and Action podcast.
The Podcast series looks at how psychological research can be applied to improving performance, accelerating skill acquisition and designing technologies.
Kate's research interests focus on all aspects of human movement and motor coordination. She is part of the Perception and Motion Analysis (PuMA) research group. In particular Kate looks at how both adults and children use visual and perceptual information to plan everyday movement in her research.
