Oxford Brookes hosts 52nd Population Genetics Group

Friday, 08 February 2019

In January 2019, Oxford Brookes hosted the 52nd Population Genetics Group Meeting. The conference was well attended by 250 researchers, with 3 parallel sessions, highlighting the latest research and developments in the fields of genetics and genomics.

The university’s newly refurbished facilities were ideal for hosting the event, and were very well received by the delegates, showcasing Oxford Brookes and raising our profile amongst this group of diverse, international scientists. The event included a real ale reception at the poster session, and accommodating the conference dinner at the Terrace (complete with ceilidh!).

Our students all did a fantastic job of volunteering and helping to run this conference. For more details, see the conference website.
