  • Dementia in Context for Health & Social Care

    This is a practice related module designed to address some of the core knowledge, skills and attitudes required of the health and social care professional working with people living with dementia in a range of health and social care settings. Students will consider systematically and creatively the experience of the person, the impact on families and carers, related ethical, legal, social, political and environmental issues and develop new knowledge and interpretation and practical strategies for assessing and responding to the needs of the person living with dementia.
