    • Support Prof David Evans as the Associate Dean Research & Knowledge Exchange in the organisation, implementation and promotion of the Faculty’s research and knowledge exchange strategies, policies and procedures
    • Co-ordinate the appointment of Visiting Academic research staff
    • Maintain records for external evaluation of research, such as the Research Excellence Framework (REF)
    • Manage the Research Support Office staff including the Research Grants Officer, Research Engagement Officer, and Research Administrator
    • Conduct the Faculty research inductions for new research staff on research policies, procedures, training & development, and available support

    Research Grants Officer

    • Provide support to colleagues applying for external research funding in terms of identifying and submitting to calls, as well as liaising with RBDO to setup the University costing tool (WorkTribe) and overseeing the internal review and approvals process
    • Act as Secretary to the Faculty Research & Knowledge Exchange Committee (RKEC)

    • Works to help engage publics with the research of the Faculty through relevant public engagement events and activities as well as working with the Oxford Brookes Media Relations Team to help communicate our research news stories.
    • Provides support for bidding for external consultancy work including support with the University costing tool  (WorkTribe) and seeing bids or tenders through the Faculty and University approval processes to submission
