Staff and students from Oxford School of Hospitality Management, including Brookes Restaurant have been busy and proud to be involved with the recent Oxford Literary Festival. This included hosting a dinner with Nigella Lawson and Anna Del Conte, on Sunday 26 March 2017 at the Ashmolean Museum, which was a real highlight!
In January and February 2017, Chris Cooper - Co-Director of the Centre for International Tourism and Events Management Research – was awarded competitive funding to visit Vancouver Island University (VIU) in Canada.

The winners of the prestigious annual ‘Hospitality Finance, Revenue Management and IT Professionals of the Year Awards 2016’, were announced and presented on Thursday night (10 November) by HOSPA – the UK’s leading educational organization for those involved in hospitality finance, revenue management and IT – at the Association’s HOSPACE2016 Conference & Exhibition Gala Awards Dinner, held at the Sofitel London Heathrow, Terminal 5.
Brookes Restaurant, part of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes University, has taken runner-up position in the 2016 Observer Food Monthly Awards in the ‘cheap eats’ category. Widely regarded as the UK food scene’s most sought after awards, this year’s winners included Jamie Oliver and Pierre Koffman.
