Bacchus Alumni Awards 2018

On 16 April 2018, the annual Bacchus Alumni Awards took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel. The event ceremony brought together alumni, colleagues and friends of Oxford School of Hospitality Management to celebrate their achievements.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, attended by 200 alumni, students and friends of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management, Augustus Lonsdale (Bacchus President), said: "The Bacchus Awards ceremony has become a highlight in both the Oxford School of Hospitality Management’s calendar and that of the wider hospitality industry. Our alumni are our greatest ambassadors and they help shape the reputation of our School on the world stage".
After the ceremony, Angela Maher, Acting Head of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management, commented: "The annual Bacchus Alumni Awards allow us to celebrate the significant impact that our international community of graduates is having in the global hospitality and tourism industry. The fact that so many graduates go on to achieve such huge success in their careers reflects the importance we place on developing students leadership and employability skills. Our strong relationships with industry further enhance our ability to offer extraordinary opportunities for our students and graduates, and have helped us build an incredibly strong international community of alumni and friends’.

This award is for an alumnus who is a truly inspirational and respected figure, who has helped to shape the hospitality industry through their talent and commitment.

A graduate who has excelled at a management level and who has achieved considerable success in the career since leaving Oxford School of Hospitality Management.

A graduate who is within 5 years of leaving the Oxford School of Hospitality Management and is showing great leadership potential.
