I have a special interest in the German Churches in the twentieth century, and in particular in the life and theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I am currently working on a book titled ‘Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the Struggle for the German Church’. I am also interested in the concept of ‘conversions’ and the Anglo-Saxons. My doctoral study focused on children’s writing development in the early years of schooling.
