Want to find out more about the Artist Teacher Scheme at Oxford Brookes University? Then come along to one of our taster sessions.

You will take part in bespoke ATS activities, alongside current ATS students. You'll also have the opportunity to discuss course expectations and developing your own art practice with Senior Lecturer Rachel Payne.

The Artist Teacher Scheme is an award-bearing professional development course that extends your contemporary visual arts practice.

The course is stimulating, thought-provoking and gives you access to the latest research, resources, local museums and galleries. It enables you to explore contemporary visual arts practice and caters for your individual training needs and interests. The course recognises your professional context and provides the opportunity to develop your own art, craft or design practice.

The Artist Teacher Scheme (ATS) is the national programme of continuing professional development courses for artist teachers. It is run in partnership between Oxford Brookes University and The University Museums, Oxford.
