How did Paul Oliver, pioneering researcher of the blues, influence British music - from the Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin?
Join an evening of live blues performance and conversation. We’ll examine the blues’ African-American origins, the histories that have infused blues music and the influence of the blues on musicians today. Enjoy performances by Tom Attah and Michael Roach.
Organised with the European Blues Association, and with a display of artefacts from the Oxford Brookes Paul Oliver Archive - including photos, recordings and interviews.
