The Doctor of Education (EdD) is a professionally focused, cohort-based doctorate. It combines taught courses with independent research.

Aimed primarily at experienced professionals working in education, healthcare and related fields, the EdD provides an opportunity to pursue doctoral study in the context of your professional role. It is open to professionals who normally have a minimum of four years’ experience and a master’s qualification. The programme of study is structured specifically to meet the needs of people who are in full-time employment.
These taster sessions give you an informal opportunity to speak to academics and members of the programme team to find out more about the Brookes EdD course.
