The Eurasian, East and Central European Studies (EECES) Women's Academic Forum is the foundation of a global Network among female academics, researching the post-Communist Space, who are at different stage of their academic development. During this one-day forum, early-career female researchers will have the opportunity to present and discuss their research with other female scholars. In addition, a keynote talk and a concluding round table, featuring well-established female academics, will be held with the aim of enabling early career female scholars to engage with established female academics on their research and personal experiences in academia.
The main purpose of this EECES Women Academics’ Forum is the foundation of a network among female academics, researching the Eurasian, East and Central European space, who are at different stage of their academic development. During this one-day forum, early-career female researchers will have the opportunity to present and discuss their research with other female scholars. In addition, a keynote lecture by Prof. Mary Buckley, and a concluding round table featuring well-established female academics, will be held with the aim of enabling early career female scholars to engage with established female academics on their research and personal experiences in academia.
The registration fee includes a light lunch and refreshments for the day.
