Is torture really still happening? Why do we do it? And how do we get away with it, when it breaks international law?
In this discussion we'll look at the conflicted feelings about torture across the world today. Do we all agree that it's abhorrent? If yes, then why do we sometimes think it's acceptable?
And how do these opposing views allow states and governments to tolerate - and sometimes enable - torture today?
Join Sushila Dhall, psychotherapist, and Richard Carver, of Oxford Brookes University to look at the human cost of torture and how we can fight for a torture-free world.
