Who this event is for

Harcourt Hill Campus

Oxford Brookes is hosting their annual primary science teaching conference; an opportunity to hear about exciting and evidence-based strategies for teaching primary science to raise standards and to increase pupils’ enthusiasm. It will involve the findings from the ‘Thinking, Doing & Talking Science project’; a collaborative project between Science Oxford and Oxford Brookes University which has involved developing strategies to increase children’s enthusiasm for science and at the same time raising their attainment.

We will also be telling you about our Science Education hub, funded by the Primary Science Teaching Trust. This allows us time and funding to develop a range of ways of working with schools to support the teaching of primary science.
