On October 25th the Oxford Brookes Law Society hosted an Champagne and Truffles evening at Headington Hill Hall to welcome two trainees from SNR Denton. SNR Denton serves clients in key business and financial centers from more than 60 locations worldwide, through offices, associate firms and special alliances across the US, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the CIS, Asia Pacific and Africa, making them a top 25 legal services provider. Over 50 students attended the event to listen to the two trainees cover what a typical day is like with the firm and give 5 top tips on applying for a training contract to help you stand out from the crowd. As you can see from the pictures below the evening was very well received by both the attendees and the representatives from SNR Denton.

The Law Society has lots more ideas in the pipeline including a wine and cheese evening and cocktail making so keep an eye on their Facebook pages and the Law pages at www.brookes.ac.uk/school-of-law/ for further information on future events.
