Brookes at the Oxford Literary Festival 2013 Monday, 04 February 2013 The Department of English and Modern Languages will once again continue its close relationship with the Oxford Literary Festival, hosting another series of exciting and thought-provoking sessions. The festival runs from Saturday 16 to Sunday 24 March at venues across the city. Following on from last year’s successful Chocolate is the Word project that involved our own MA Creative Writing students working with children from the Oxford Academy to produce their own book of short stories, this year we have two events which feature the work of current and former students of local Oxford schools. MA Creative Writing students have devised and are hosting their own session with internationally-celebrated writer of young adult fiction, Meg Rosoff, while three students will be working with the festival team as part of the BA English work placement module.
