Brookes team deserving winners in second round of mooting competition

Brookes GDL students Nicole Kapu and Duncan Graves defeated The Open University in the second round of the ESU/Essex Court National Mooting Competition, judged by Richard Benson QC, which was held in the Brookes Moot Court on Wednesday 4 February.Nicole and Duncan performed excellently in beating The Open University team, who had previously beaten the University of Oxford, to progress to the third round, where they will now face the University of Hertfordshire.Congratulating the winning team, Marc Howe, Principal Lecturer in Law and coach to the GDL mooting teams, said this of the team:
Nicole and Duncan performed at the highest level in this moot, and were once again deserving winners in a closely-fought contest.
