Oxford Brookes Law Fair

On Tuesday 28 November the School of Law held the annual Oxford Brookes Law Fair in the bustling forum of the John Henry Brookes Building.

Over 250 students attended the event, along with staff from the school of law and legal professionals from a number of law firms and chambers. This gave students the opportunity to discuss their legal careers and study options.

Marc Howe, Principal Lecturer in Law and organiser of the event commented: "It was great to see record numbers of our students taking advantage of this exceptional opportunity to meet a range of employers looking to recruit students from the School of Law."

This important event enables the School of Law to continue its strong relationships with local firms and chambers, which considerably enhance the university’s employability credentials. The solicitors' firms and barristers’ chambers in attendance all agreed that the event provides an excellent opportunity for them to meet potential future trainee solicitors and pupil barristers, and to play an integral part in the professional development of law students at Oxford Brookes University.
