Organised by Dr Marius Turda, the Central European Seminar proposes group discussions with students and academics currently engaged in research on Central and Eastern European issues in Oxford. This year's guest speakers were Ambassadors of Central and Eastern European countries accredited to London (Austria, Hungary and Romania). Robert Evans, Regius Professor of History, chaired the sessions. Guests included Christopher W. Long, former UK's ambassador to Switzerland and Hungary and Jonathan Scheele, representative of the European Commission in the UK and Northern Ireland.
