Departmental Success in the National Student Satisfaction Survey

On the 29 November, Oxford Brookes held an event to celebrate the results of the latest National Student Survey (NSS).
The event was hosted by Professor Julie McLeod, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience.
From the Department of History, Philosophy and Religion, Philosophy, History and Politics, and History of Art all received awards for their excellent results in the National Student Survey.
Dr Mark Cain, Programme Lead in Philosophy commented on the 100% student satisfaction that his team received:
I'm really delighted with this award. It's recognition of how well both the lecturers and students in Philosophy work together to prioritise everyone's happiness and achievement.
Professor Joanne Begiato, Head of Department, was proud to accept the award on behalf of her colleagues in History and Politics, a programme that also received 100% Student Satisfaction. She said:
This award recognises my departmental colleagues’ hard work, enthusiasm, and generosity of spirit and is testimony to Philosophy, History,and History of Art students’ great experience studying at Brookes
