Dr Chiara Beccalossi  has recently co-founded a new seminar series on the History of Sexuality at the Institute of Historical Research, London. The new series will start in Autumn 2013 and intends to promote innovative research in the history of sexuality and, in particular, exchanges between scholars working at different universities both within and outside Britain. Other co-founders include scholars suchAnna Schaffner (University of Kent), Alison Oram (Leeds Metropolitan University), Craig Griffiths (Queen Mary), Christopher M. Waters (Williams University), Heike Bauer (Birkbeck), Jana Funke (University of Exeter), Julia Laite (Birkbeck), Jane Mackelworth (Queen Mary), Justin Bengry, Claire Hayward (Kingston University), Matt Cook (Birkbeck), Sean Brady (Birkbeck), and Sarah Toulalan (University of Exeter).
