Until recently, little was known about Nazi Bride Schools, where the Nazi ideology was instilled in women carefully selected to become partners of Adolf Hitler’s personal bodyguards, the Schutzstaffel (SS). A series of documents unearthed in Germany’s Federal Archive, based in Koblenz, shed light on these schools, their courses and role within the general transformation of German society during National Socialism.
