Law Lecture

The School of Law at Oxford Brookes has climbed to its highest ever ranking in 2015’s Sunday Times Good University League, ranking 28th out of 100 universities across the country.

The league table combines student satisfaction and research quality and now places the LLB at Oxford Brookes as the highest ranking post-92 university in the table, and even above a number of Russell Group law schools.

The most recent National Student Survey results, showed that 93% of students on the Law programme at Oxford Brookes are satisfied with things such as resources, feedback, staff and support.

This is a fantastic achievement for the staff at the Oxford Brookes School of Law and Mark O’Brien, Head of the School of Law, had this to say;

This is testament to the excellent work that everyone in the School is undertaking, and is great news for us.
Lucy Vickers, Professor in Law at Oxford Brookes, said of the success;
The School of Law at Oxford Brookes boasts an international reputation for excellence in research. We have an impressive track record for ensuring our research has an impact in the real world.
Dr Derek O'Brien, Reader in Law Oxford Brookes added;
"the School of Law is small enough to offer a supportive learning environment in which staff and students are working towards the same goals, while at the same time being led by lecturers, many of whom are world class researchers with international reputations in their subject areas."
