Mock interviews prepare students for success

Monday, 29 October 2012

When it comes to interviews every applicant wants the best possible preparation. This means taking advantage of our careers service but also the specific and extensive knowledge of our academics. Marc Howe and Cathy Durance, two members of staff of the Oxford Brookes School of Law (incorporating OXILP), based at Headington Hill Hall have been helping students prepare for interviews with firms by staging mock interviews. These interviews give students a real taste of the type of questions that firms will be asking and also giving the student invaluable experience of the atmosphere that these interviews will take place in.
It was such a help at this stage to get an experienced perspective on what they'd pick up from my application and ask me. Thanks to you I was completely prepared! I was so grateful for your help in structuring answers in a way they'd appreciate.- Amy Mason GDL Student
