Oxford Brookes Clearing Information 2011

Thursday, 18 August 2011

At Oxford Brookes, we understand that results day can be a difficult time for students. This is particularly the case at a time when there are increasing numbers applying for university places. It is important to stress that when considering those who have applied to study at Oxford Brookes, we look at all cases on an individual basis. We have seen a 16.5 per cent increase in applications for 2011/12 and students holding a firm or insurance place who have met their offers will have their place confirmed. In recent years, we have had very few subjects in clearing and there will be a limited number of spaces available this year, which includes a small number of places with our partner colleges.Like the rest of the sector, Brookes is allocated a fixed number of funded places and would be fined for over-recruiting.Further information is available from our website and the UCAS website.
