Professor Tina Miller called as expert witness for parliamentary inquiry

Professor Tina Miller presented evidence in Westminster as an expert witness for an inquiry into fathers and the workplace.

Earlier this month, ONEFaR founder Tina Miller was invited to make a submission to the  Women and Equalities Committee inquiry into  Fathers and the Workplace. The committee is investigating whether fathers receive sufficient support in the workplace to allow them to care for their children. In particular, the inquiry asks what the barriers are and whether government policy, such as the current Shared Parental Leave legislation, is effective.

Following the submission, which was based on extracts from her forthcoming monograph Making Sense of Parenthood, Tina was invited to present 'oral evidence’ to the committee. This took place at the hearing of the Parliamentary Committee in Westminster on the morning of 22 March 2017.
