At Oxford Brookes you now can take advantage of our expertise in delivering coaching and mentoring qualifications to achieve an ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.
This ILM accredited course offers you the flexibility to study for your ILM qualification by attending seminars in Oxford approximately once a month and accessing our virtual learning environment to engage with tutors and peers and additional course content.
This blended delivery format provides a structured approach so that you can participate from a distance and dovetail the qualification with the demands of your work. The course is delivered over a six month period and covers four ILM units (totalling 20 credits):
The qualification is designed for managers or HR/OD professionals who want to develop their expertise and credibility in the fields of Coaching and Mentoring, or to establish coaching on an organisational level. It is also for professional coaches and mentors seeking to enhance and accredit their experience with a nationally recognised qualification.
As this course provides a level 7 qualification which is equivalent to postgraduate level study, you will need an undergraduate qualification, or equivalent, plus at least two years of management level work experience. Exceptional learners, who have no formal qualification, but who have several years’ experience and have completed some formal training in the role, may also participate. If you are unsure of your ability to qualify for the course please contact us to talk through your experience and situation.
With your 20 ILM credits from this Certificate, when delivered by Brookes, you can progress to our flagship MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice with exemption for one module.
Your new qualification can be taken into your workplace or business in the knowledge that you have achieved one of the UK’s most coveted coaching/mentoring awards.
