The Oxford UCCE is a joint centre of cricketing excellence open to students of Oxford Brookes and Oxford University.

    Playing cricket

The Universities Centre of Cricketing Excellence (UCCE) scheme is the product of the ECB's desire to further youth and University cricket. The Oxford UCCE is one of six university centres around England and Wales offering a high standard of cricketing education to develop talented young cricketers.

The scheme is designed to foster young cricketing talent by preparing individuals for the professional game whilst also allowing for the completion of higher education.

    Cricket ground Champions

Students at Oxford Brookes are eligible for selection for the UCCE, along with students from Oxford University. Some players will move into the professional game during or after university. Since its inception in 2001, 60 players have gone on to play pro cricket, 46 being from Brookes. Oxford Brookes also has two cricket teams competing in the summer BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) leagues.
