  • Your application will be considered by our admissions team who will get back to you as soon as possible. If we do not receive all the required documents or we require additional evidence of your English language level, we will ask you for these.

    You will need to accept the offer and pay a deposit of £3,000 to secure your place at Oxford Brookes. You must also read our Terms and Conditions of Enrolment.

    When should I apply?

    We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to allow time for the application process and for you to obtain a visa, if necessary.

    If you are applying to start in September 2021, you can apply until 30 June 2021.

    For a January start you will usually need to apply by December. International applications for January 2021 are now closed.

    Please see our accommodation pages for information about applying for accommodation. You will need to have submitted an online hall of residence application by the dates on these pages. If you wish to apply for halls of residence after this date, please contact the university Accommodation Bureau directly on

    Late applications

    If the application deadline has passed and you do not require a visa to study at the university, then please email us at to see if we can consider a late application from you. We will email you to confirm if this is possible.

    Minimum age

    The normal minimum age for these courses is 18. We will admit 17-year-olds on a case-by-case basis if they turn 18 during the academic year in which the course runs.

    Entry requirements

    English language qualifications

    For these courses we will usually only accept the English language qualifications approved by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) such as IELTS. Find out more about acceptable English language qualifications.

    If you do not need a student visa to study in the UK (for example if you are from the European Union) we may accept other English language qualifications. Please contact us for more information.
