We understand that coming to live and study in the UK may be a new experience for you, so we will help you settle in.
During the arrival weekend, student advisers and student helpers will help you to settle into your accommodation, meet other new students and tell you about the induction and enrolment activities.
Our Global Buddies scheme will also help you to settle into life in Oxford. Your buddy is another student who will introduce you to the services for international students and help you make British friends. You will need to apply to the scheme before you arrive here.
Detailed information on everything you need to know before travelling to Brookes, and when you first arrive, can be found on our International preparation and arrival webpages.
This is when you will officially register as a student and receive your timetable for your first semester. There are also activities so you can meet staff and students on your course, and to help you access the facilities and support services available at Oxford Brookes.
More information about this will be sent to you by email and will be on the New Student website (usually available about 1 month before the start of the semester).
