  • I have been working in the EFL sector since 1995 as Director of Studies, Teacher Trainer and Teacher. Since 2013 I have worked as an associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University as well as an Item Writer for Oxford University Press, writing material for their online examinations and placement tests.

Currently, I am working on my PhD research (title: Assessing EFL learners’ pragmatic competence at B2-C2 levels).
I mainly teach academic writing, reading and speaking on pre-sessional and in-sessional courses.
My main research interest is L2 pragmatics and the assessment of EFL learners’ pragmatic competence.
