  • September 2021 early acceptance scholarship

    Starting your degree in September 2021? You may qualify for one of our £2,000 international student scholarships

    We know that moving to a new country can be a challenge, and we believe that early preparation is an important factor in student success. In order to encourage our students to be well prepared for their new life in the UK, we are offering a £2,000 scholarship to support students who accept their places by 15 April 2021.

    In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must:

    • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University.
    • Accept your offer by 15 April 2021 - this includes payment of any tuition fee deposit where applicable.
    • Enrol in September 2021 as a new full-time undergraduate or postgraduate international fee-paying student.

  • In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

    1. Applicants must:
      • Have an offer from the University to begin a degree programme in September 2021 and to have accepted this offer by 15 April 2021.
      • Have made payment of any tuition fee deposit by 15 April 2021 where applicable. Please read the terms of your offer carefully if a deposit is required.
    2. Applicants must be new, full-time, international fee-paying students commencing full 3 or 4-year undergraduate degrees (including year 2 or year 3 entry and Integrated Foundation Courses) or full 1 or 2-year postgraduate degrees. Unfortunately this scholarship does not apply to students under home/EU fees.
    3. The scholarship will only be available to students commencing a degree in September 2021.
    4. The scholarship scheme will not apply to:
      • Pre-sessional programmes in English Language
      • 1-year stand-alone Foundation Programmes including:
        • International Foundation Diploma
        • Foundation in Art and Design
      • Pre-Master’s programmes (excluding the Two Year Master's Programme which will be included in the scheme)
      • Modular associate programmes or exchange programmes
      • Diploma courses
      • Certificate courses
    5. Students are not able to claim this scholarship in conjunction with any other funding offered by Oxford Brookes.
  • EU Student Support Scholarship 2021

    At Oxford Brookes, we deeply value our students from the EU and we will continue to do all we can to welcome EU students long into the future. 

    We are therefore delighted to announce that we will be offering scholarships of £4,000 to all EU students who wish to join our degree programmes in the academic year 2021/22. If you meet the criteria, this scholarship will be applied automatically as a discount to your tuition fees across all years of study.

  • In order to qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    1. Applicants must:
      • have an offer from the University to begin a degree programme in the academic year 2021/22 and to have firmly accepted that offer
      • be a passport holder of an EU country / have EU nationality
      • be an international fee-paying student
      • be studying a full time 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree (including year 2 or year 3 entry), a full 1 or 2 year postgraduate degree or a 3 year postgraduate research degree primarily delivered at an Oxford Brookes campus.
    2. The scholarship will only be available to students commencing a degree in the academic year 2021/22. This includes both September 2021 and January 2022 entry points.
    3. Students are not able to claim this scholarship in conjunction with any other funding offered by Oxford Brookes University.
    4. Unfortunately this scholarship does not apply to students who qualify to pay Home (UK) fees.
    5. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.
    6. This scholarship does not apply to placement years.
    7. This scholarship is not available to ACP students.
    8. This scholarship is not available to students where the Home and Overseas fee are the same level.
    9. This scholarship is not available to distance learning students.

  • GREAT Scholarships 2021

    Oxford Brookes University is excited to announce that this year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, we are offering two £10,000 scholarships to students from China and from Malaysia holding an offer to study a postgraduate course with us starting in September 2021.

    This Scholarship scheme is part of the GREAT Scholarship 2021 programme, which is an initiative by the British Council and the UK Government, designed to attract some of the brightest postgraduate students from around the world to study at more than 40 British universities in the 2021-22 academic year.

    The GREAT Scholarship 2021 programme offers an exciting opportunity for students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand to get financial support to pursue postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 40 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.


    How to apply for the GREAT Scholarship?

  • In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

    1. Applicants must:
      • be a passport holder of Malaysia or mainland China
      • hold an offer from us for a postgraduate taught course starting in September 2021
      • meet the University's English Language requirements

  • Commonwealth shared scholarship 2021

    Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and jointly supported by UK universities, Commonwealth Shared Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

    This year Oxford Brookes University will be offering 4 fully funded Commonwealth Shared Scholarships. Applicants who will be studying the following courses are welcome to apply:

    Applicants should apply for the scholarship through the applicant portal by 4.00pm (GMT) on Friday 9 April 2021. Applications after this date will not be considered.

  • In order to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

    • Hold an offer from Oxford Brookes University for September 2021.
    • Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
    • Be a permanent resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
    • Be available to start your academic studies in the UK, or remotely if required, by the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2021.
    • By September 2021, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
    • Not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a high income country.
    • Be unable to afford to study at a UK university without this scholarship.
    • Have provided all supporting documentation in the required format.

    Eligible Commonwealth countries include:
