We are offering a number of scholarships across a range of subject areas at Oxford Brookes University. These scholarships are available for full-time master’s degree students from China who will be starting their course in September.
All scholarships are for a period of one year only, and do not include a maintenance grant.
You must be in possession of a formal offer to study a full time master's degree at Oxford Brookes University i.e. a course leading to an MA, MSc or LLM.
Scholarships are only available to citizens and permanent residents of Mainland China.
Applicants must normally hold an undergraduate honours degree equivalent to at least a 2:1 in a UK bachelor’s degree or 80% in a Chinese bachelor’s degree.
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the suitability of candidates for their chosen course in terms of how the course builds on previous education and experience, and relates to career ambitions/personal development.
The scholarships are awarded to new full-time students enrolling on a campus-based master’s course in September of the academic year 2018.
Applicants must have met all the University’s academic, English language and other related entry criteria when they apply.
Applicants must complete all sections of the application form, with strict observation of any word limits. Please do include any other documents with the form, such as transcripts. Download the application form here.
Completed forms (must be typed) should be returned in either Word or pdf format by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 31 August 2018 (17.00 China time / 10.00 UK time). Applicants will receive an automated email confirming receipt of application.
Your course application will also be taken into consideration in the selection.
The final selection will be made by the University Selection Panel. When the Panel meets each candidate must have accepted a place on a full-time master’s course at Oxford Brookes University. A reserve list will be drawn up in case any of the selected candidates do not take up the offer of this scholarship.
