If you are coming to the end of your time as a student at Oxford Brookes, you will need to start thinking about any emails/documents/contacts that you have housed in your University Gmail account, that you might want to take with you.
You can do this easily enough by either transferring them into another personal Gmail account, or downloading as a zip file. You can find out more in our guide to keeping your emails, contacts, calendars and drive documents. You will need to allow at least 48 hours before you lose access to your University accounts.
Students
Access to University accounts after you have completed your course:
- 300 days access to PIP/Student Records System, Moodle and Brookes Gmail/Drive account.
- 50 days access to your PC user account, eduroam and H-drive.
Students who are 'Awaiting Results' have 90 days access to facilities from your completion date including your PC user account, PIP/SRS, Moodle, H-drive and Brookes Gmail/Drive account.
Also, remember to update your contact details so that you can stay connected to Oxford Brookes, access alumni discounts and benefits and keep in touch with fellow graduates.
Staff
You will lose access to University systems and services at midnight on the day you have agreed as your official last day. There is very useful leaving staff information on the HR webpages.
