Google Chromebooks are internet based laptops that are set up to connect to the Brookes network. They are available to borrow for free from Wheatley and Harcourt Libraries or the self-service cabinets at Headington Road (JHBB Forum), Swindon Library or Marston Road (MRG44). You will need your staff or student ID card.
The Self-Service cabinets have clear instructions on how to use them. Once you have scanned your card, the cabinet will tell you which drawer to take the laptop from. Please remember when returning, to plug the power cable back in. Until this is done, you will remain logged as the borrower.
*Chromebooks only connect to the Brookes network and will not work if you are not on site.
