In this climate of daily attack from computer viruses, it is important that the University keeps its computers protected and up-to-date. At Oxford Brookes we use Sophos on all staff and student computers to protect against viruses. If you are a member of staff you will know your Oxford Brookes computer is protected with the latest version of Sophos as your PC task bar will have a little blue shield displayed.
It is also important that any personal devices that access the University network and systems are protected with anti-virus software. Sophos offer free software for your personal devices. Visit the Sophos website and create an account. Once you have created an account, Sophos will send you an email to verify your email address. Once logged in to Sophos you will be able to add the anti-virus software to your own devices.
