Information management covers the lifecycle of data and information; from collection and storage to its use, archiving and destruction. Oxford Brookes is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information whatever its medium.
Oxford Brookes University collects, stores and processes a vast amount of information. The role of the Information Compliance team is to ensure that Brookes is compliant with all applicable legislation, with particular emphasis on the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.
Records Management ensures the creation and maintenance of authentic, reliable and usable records which document the University's activities and meet legal, regulatory and operational requirements.
