• ECDL Training
  • ECDL members of the public

We deliver ECDL courses using a blended learning approach. You can learn from home at your own pace using the online training, and we offer weekly drop-in sessions where you can undertake practice tests, and get detailed feedback from your tutor, prior to your exams.

  • Check the Study ECDL@brookes guide to find out about the course structure and how to access the training.

Check the ECDL Syllabus to get an idea of course content.

Complete the short Online Application form. If your organisation or employer is funding your training, you will need a Purchase Order number to complete the application form. Alternatively you can pay by credit or debit card via the Brookes Online Shop.
We will send your ECDL joining instructions by email after registration. The ECDL Brookes guide explains how  to access the online training, the drop-in sessions, and get support from your tutor. Good luck!

Once you have enrolled, ECDL is non-refundable  as software licences will have been purchased for you. However if you notify us in writing within 14 days of registration, and provided you have not accessed the online study software, we will provide refunds subject to a £95 administration fee.

We expect you to complete ECDL within one year from the date of enrolment. If you need more time, we charge a £65 annual continuation fee. Your fees include all practice tests and examinations, plus one spare unit. Additional practice tests and examination are available for £25 fee per unit.

On successful completion of all examinations, you will be awarded your ECDL certificate, certified by the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT.
