Here at Brookes we deliver ECDL using a blended learning
approach. You can learn from home at your own pace using the online training,
and we offer weekly drop-in sessions where you can undertake practice tests and
get detailed feedback from your tutor.
Check the Study ECDL@brookes guide to find out about the course structure and how to access the training.
Check the ECDL Syllabus to get an idea of course content.
Any questions, contact Roy Grant, firstname.lastname@example.org, 01865 485852
We will send your ECDL sign-on instructions by email. The ECDL Brookes guide explains how to access the online training, the drop-in sessions, and get support from your tutor. Good luck!
Drop-ins take place every Wednesday morning, and most Monday afternoons at the Headington campus. ECDL exams can be taken on Wednesday mornings between 10.30-12.30. Always check the ECDL calendar for availability of ECDL drop In sessions, and dates & times. Also check the ECDL Centre classroom location on the calendar. (Training room LL.G.03: ground floor of Lloyd building, situated on the Headington Road side of the campus, next to the bus stop). Download a location map for further details.
Please note that there is no available parking on campus, and parking in the surrounding residential area is severely restricted.
Once you have enrolled, ECDL is non-refundable as software licences will have been purchased for you.
We expect you to complete ECDL within one year from the date of enrolment. If you need more time, we charge a £50 continuation fee.
On successful completion of all tests, you will be awarded your ECDL certificate, certified by the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT.
