  • ECDL for Brookes students

    Course fee: £140

We deliver ECDL using a blended learning approach. You can learn online from home, in the Library, in your Hall, or anywhere else with an Internet connection at your own pace. You can also visit our regular ECDL drop-in sessions on the Headington campus, where you can undertake practice tests and get detailed feedback from your tutor.

  • Check the ECDL Student Guide to find out about the course structure and how to access the training.

Read the ECDL Syllabus to get an idea of course content.

Check your availability. Drop-ins take place every Wednesday morning, and most Monday afternoons at the ECDL Centre.
Exams can be taken on Wednesday mornings between 10.30-12.30. View the Dates & times.

The ECDL Centre is located in the IT Training, room LL.G.03. Lloyd Building (ground floor). Download the Headington campus map for details. There is no parking available on campus, and parking in the surrounding area is severely restricted.

Once you have registered for ECDL, you will be sent ECDL sign-on instructions by email. The ECDL Student Guide explains how  to access the online training, the drop-in sessions, and get support from your ECDL tutor. Good luck!

Once you have enrolled, ECDL is non-refundable  as software licences will have been purchased for you.

On successful completion of all tests, you will be awarded your ECDL certificate, certified by the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT.
