Citing your sources (also called referencing) is an essential part of your academic work and is explained fully in our library guide to referencing.
The Business School uses the Brookes Harvard (all authors) style of referencing.
Cite Them Right is a tool to help you with your referencing. It shows you how to reference a wide range of resources using exactly the same Harvard style used by the Business School; for that reason we recommend this over similar guides found online. Make sure you access Cite Them Right via the Library pages (not via Google) to get full access.
Endnote is a tool for storing and organising your references, and it will also work with Word to create a fully formatted bibliography from your reference library. Begin by enrolling on the EndNote Web Moodle course which will help you to learn how to use it.
If you have any questions about referencing, you can ask your tutor or your librarian.
