E-journals for Construction

  • Many journals in construction are now available online/e-journal in full text.

How to access a specific e-journal (when title of journal is known)

LibrarySearch lists both electronic and printed journals. Enter the Journal Title (not the title of the article) into the search box, click on the option for "Show more" under the "All formats" heading on the left side of the page and click the check box for "Journal, magazine".

Alternatively, we have a list available of all print and electronic journals held by the Library (a complete listing of all full-text e-journals available to Oxford Brookes staff and students). Important: Please read the information given about the range of years available in full-text and details of passwords needed.

    Off-campus access and passwords

Access to most e-journals from off campus involves confidential passwords and these are listed on your PIP page. The most common password is your Brookes login which you will be prompted to do before accessing the e-journal (go to Electronic Library on the Library web pages).

Finding journal articles on your subject (in any journal)

Use the list of Databases for Construction. Databases serve as enormous indexes to journals in particular broad subject areas.
