E-journals for Development Studies

  • Do you know the name of the journal you want to read?

    YES:

Follow these steps to find out if Brookes has access to that journal:

    1. Search for the journal title in the search box on the Library homepage, using the Journal titles option.

    2. Use LibrarySearch to check for print copies. Enter the Journal Title (not the title of the article) into the search box, click on the option for "Show more" under the "All formats" heading on the left side of the page and click the check box for "Journal, magazine".

If the journal is not available in either format, do consider using the Library's inter-library loans service.

    NO:

Use one of the suggested Databases for Development Studies. Databases serve as enormous indexes to journals in particular broad subject areas. Think of keywords or phrases to search for relevant journal articles.
